Our Story
Union Transfer & Storage was founded in 1995 by Wayne Campbell, who took over the business from its previous owners. Under Wayne's leadership, the company expanded, and in 2001, we relocated to our current facility in South Asheville. This 40,000 square foot, custom-built climatized storage warehouse is where we store our clients' valuable belongings.
Meet Our Leaders
Our company has been in the Campbell family for nearly 25 years. Wayne's son, Robie, joined the business part-time in high school and became a full-time employee prior to the relocation. Robie learned the ins and outs of the transportation business, from warehouse operations to delivery to packing. In 2020, Robie purchased the company from his father, taking the reins as the new owner.
