Deitz House Moving Engineers, Inc. is a fourth-generation family-owned and operated company that has been serving West Michigan for over 70 years. With a rich history dating back to 1945, our company has grown from a small local business to an award-winning structural moving company. Our company was founded by Walter M. Deitz, who started "Deitz Heavy Moving" during World War II. After the war, Walter started his house moving business with a single semi. His son, Richard Deitz, joined the company at the age of 13, and has since become an integral part of the business.
