Our Story
Our journey began in 1989, born out of the demise of a rock band. Glen McGinty, the drummer, found himself with a big purple truck and a new career path. In 1991, Glen met Dave Moloney, a classically-trained chef from Ireland, who joined the company and eventually bought it. Under Dave's leadership, The Moving Connection grew, and in 2017, it was sold to another longtime Boulder family. Throughout the years, our commitment to customer satisfaction has remained unwavering, with 80% of our business coming from repeat clients and referrals.
