Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage

I have now used Hansen Brothers twice for long distance moves. I have ready horror stories about long distance moves and both times they helped me with every detail. Just a great service and group of folks.

From the first contact to delivery, Hansen Brothers has made my move as easy as possible. They seem to understand how stressful the process is and bend over backward to address every concern. The packing was first rate, the price was shockingly low, and every team member from the packers to the contracted delivery personnel were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this company for anyone moving locally (they have also moved me locally) and interstate. I'm not sure I have any suggestions for how they could make it easier. They seem to have it down to a studied science.

Thank you Hansen Bros! I called very last minute for a local move and storage of an oversized item (dining table and 8 chairs) that I wasn't going to be able to relocate to a 3rd floor apartment. I was accommodated IMMEDIATELY which, to be honest, was not an expectation on my end, but a wonderful gift of grace. Thank you to the whole team for phenomenal customer services and great experiences from start (Riley) to finish (Andrew, Jordan, Mark and Tracy). I recently hired Hansen Bros. to move a safe and a dresser, and I was extremely impressed with their service. Kyle, Victor, and Alfredo demonstrated outstanding professionalism and efficiency throughout the process. They completed the job promptly while handling everything with great care. I would highly recommend Hansen Bros. to anyone in need of reliable and professional moving services.

Hansen Bros is simply the best. I've used their moving and storage services for 40 years. For my current move, both my wife and I had medical issues come up during moving prep - we lost many days & were seriously behind on packing. Hansen Bros sent extra people & finished the packing in half a day. They really came through for us.

Let me share my unbelievable moving story. My interstate move had three distinct parts and I doubted Hansen brothers on each. In all three cases their service and dependability and customer service were so great that I feel compelled to write this review. Using their company was a GREAT decision.

First I sold my home in the Redmond Washington area. The plan was to put everything in storage until there came to be a suitable place in my new location in California. Designer glass tables were dismantled (would someone know how to put it together on the other side? What if it broke?). Artwork was packed. Hansen brothers had everything crated in the most professional way possible. For this first leg of my moving journey Brad Schuster, my sales rep, was the one who reassured me and held my hand.

Next it all went into storage. Now Francine Carvalho was to be my contact. Rates were reasonable and I was reassured that although a different Allied mover would eventually do the move interstate, Hansen brothers would oversee everything. And they did.

Within a month I found a place in California. Francine (and also Adam Trueax, the general manager) reached out to me and personally reassured me that nothing would happen without their overseeing the move. I scheduled an exact delivery window and my husband was to fly down to meet the movers. What could go wrong? Well nothing did! The movers arrived before my husband and rescheduled to deliver when he was there. Plus the crew that came out were cheerful, competent, and saw the project through. Nothing broken, everything done perfectly.

Wow...totally recommend Hansen brothers moving and STORAGE because in state, storing and out of state moving...they have you covered.

Very pleased with the end-to-end experience from initially working with Brad on the quote to packing/loading/moving with Clarence, I could not have been happier. Amazing crew. Everyone I have encountered with Hansen Brothers moving has been wonderful. David A. was very helpful in explaining what we should pack ourselves. Also dropped off boxes the day before the move to help with last minute items. Jonathon, Lance and Simon showed up very on time and called to alert me they had arrived. Also were very helpful, especially when one of them found a paper bag with dirty cleaning rags in it (YUCK!) and gently asked if I wanted it packed. (I declined and tossed the whole bag out!). Every time I have called Hansen Bros. with questions, I have gotten a quick, polite response. So far things have gone very well. Still have my stuff in storage with you, but I think I have found an apartment that I like, and hope to move in before the end of August. Victoria

This is our second move with Hansen Bros and we will always use this company. Jonathan, Tony and German were terrific- personable and professional. The whole experience was great and we highly recommend Hansen Bros. and the team. In addition, we stored items with Hansen for 3 years and that was convenient, and affordable. Special kudos to Nicole - she is a great communicator and very responsive. The supervisor/driver on our move was great- very courteous and considerate. Where to begin!! Alfredo, Jorge and Jamie were AMAZING!!! They were professional and courteous and they never stopped working!! They are so strong I still marvel at the ease they handled everything. At the original site they wrapped everything and treated my belongings like precious cargo. I knew nothing would be broken or damaged and after unpacking all the boxes I was right everything is absolutely perfect!! I cannot say enough good things about this crew!! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs anything moved. I cant leave out Paula who was a joy to work with! We had a huge change of plans with our move and she handled it beautifully!! This was my 3rd move with Hansen Bros. The first was in 1999, the second one was in 2012. While the other moves were excellent, I think that the three men who came yesterday were the best. They exceeded my expectations. They were at all times extremely courteous, helpful, careful and extremely competent. Their names were Isaac, Antonio, and Valentino. I had Dallas, Chris, and Patrick to help with my move in mid-April, and the crew was communicative and responsive from pre-arrive throughout the entirety of the move. They were resourceful and were always planning and thinking ahead. All 3 crew members were friendly and helpful throughout.

Dave (the relocation consultant) did a thorough assessment of the job during my selection process and you guys were the only ones that came out and did that for free even before I chose you guys. The professionalism and assessment of completion cost made me feel confident about the move compared to other moving companies i considered in the area that I contacted and received quotes from.

John M. kept communications open and was checking in with me before the actual date which also gave me a good impression that I was in good hands. Overall, I felt the cost was reasonable and the time estimate for the effort was accurate. Would recommend this company or at least use for my next move.

Alfredo and Blayde comprised the crew moving my goods from one apartment to another. They were courteous, helpful, professional, and just a delight to have as our movers. Just when I thought customer service was dead or at best an oxymoron, Hansen Bros. proved me wrong and I am very happy about that! I can see why they have been around since 1890. Thanks for the pleasant move. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants a smooth, courteous, professional, and pain free move.

I am thoroughly pleased with the move that Hansen Bros. helped me with last week, In particular, they moved a cumbersome, fragile, antique jukebox down two flights of narrow, exterior stairs. Chris and John did an excellent job taking extra care to make sure the jukebox was secured. Highly recommend for any moving job! In addition, Nicole was extremely helpful to me last year when I was trying to figure out how to downsize my home. What a helpful team Hansen Bros. is!

Very happy with our Hansen Bros experience overall. We used them to move our furniture out, store it during a renovation, and bring it back at the end. The office folks and the moving crews were all very helpful and professional. Would definitely use them again!

When life events necessitated a quick move, Pete worked with us to get it estimated and scheduled expeditiously. Carl called the day before the move to insure everything was ready. The team of David, Alfredo, and Sam were a dream to work with. They packed and loaded our furniture with care and attention to details. Ive driven past and noticed the Hansen facility on Aurora for many years. When it came time to move, I immediately thought of Hansens and am very glad I did. The staff have all been excellent! I would highly recommend Hansens to anyone considering a move.

My experience with Hansen Bros was exceptional from start to finish. Will scheduled my appointment. He was polite, responsive and professional. He made booking the move easy. Caesar and Ronald handled my furniture with great care. They were also very polite and professional. As an active-duty military member, moving is a reoccurring event in my life. This was by far the best and least stressful move Ive ever had. Big thanks to everyone at Hansen Bros, especially Will, Caesar and Ronald.

Our Hansen Bros. move was a great experience (and after 16 household moves over 35 years, we know moving isn't always a great experience). Paula was very helpful in helping us value engineer our overall move which was greatly appreciated. On loading day, the six-man crew was very friendly and courteous. On move-in day, the same six-man crew was equally professional. We had a couple of pieces that we consider to be beasts to move, and the crew faced the challenge, problem-solved, and got both pieces situated as we had hoped. I would certainly recommend Hansen Bros. for a semi-local move!
