The American Trucking Associations (ATA) is the largest national trade association for the trucking industry. Through a federation of 50 affiliated state trucking associations and industry-related conferences and councils, ATA is the voice of the industry America depends on most to move our nation's freight. In 2020, ATA established the ATA Moving & Storage Conference, the leading national organization representing household goods moving companies and industry suppliers, as well as various state moving and storage associations. The Conference serves as the leading educator and partner to moving and storage consumers worldwide. The Conference works tirelessly to improve public safety and trust in the relocation market through various avenues, including the development of best practices, rigorous consumer education programs, and advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill.

Our members are dedicated to the continual improvement of the moving and storage industry. While ATA MSC members may continue to display certain certifications and awards they received from the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA), there are a number of certifications individuals and companies can obtain from the American Trucking Associations to demonstrate their professionalism and commitment to ethics and a high quality of service. Official Charity Partner

Move for Hunger is our official charity partner. Move for Hunger is a non-profit organization that mobilizes the relocation industry to fight hunger and reduce food waste. They work with companies across North America to collect unwanted, unopened food from people who are relocating and deliver it to local food banks.
